Villa La Tour de Peilz
Interior renovation and bespoke interior design
Set within a private villa in La Tour-de-Peilz, on the shores of Lake Geneva, the project focused on the complete interior design of several key areas of the home. This included two bathrooms, the kitchen, entrance hallway, staircase, guest toilet and a bedroom of the high-end villa.
The objective of the project was to create a quiet and elegant interior, shaped by natural materials, soft neutral tones and bespoke design solutions, resulting in a refined and timeless living environment tailored to the lifestyle of the client.
Project elements
- Interior renovation and bespoke interior design for multiple areas of the villa.
- Design and renovation of two bathrooms and guest toilet.
- Custom kitchen design with island and integrated bar seating.
- Design of bespoke cabinetry, wardrobes and built-in storage solutions.
- Lighting design, tiling plans and technical drawings for the contractor.
- Selection and procurement of materials, tiles and sanitaryware.
Design solutions
A soft, natural palette runs throughout the villa, establishing a serene and harmonious atmosphere. Carefully chosen large-format tiles in stone tones extend across the hallway, staircase, and bathrooms, creating continuity and a more elegant architectural reading of the space.
In the master bathroom, warm wood cabinetry is paired with elegant marble-textured 3D tiles, to provide the space with more luxurious spa-like appeal. Integrated lighting, floating vanities, and built-in bespoke niches are further incorporated carefully, maintaining a serene and contemporary aesthetic while supporting everyday use.
The kitchen was designed as a bright and welcoming space centred around a generous island with bar seating. A combination of natural wood finishes and painted cabinetry, paired with a marble worktop and backsplash, allowed for a refined composition of the space in which a separate preparation area was integrated to accommodate small appliances.
Bespoke cabinetry was designed and added throughout the villa, from wardrobes to built-in storage solutions, allowing each element to sit naturally within the architecture of the home. In the guest toilet, a custom vanity and curved mirror with integrated lighting introduce a more refined feature.
Furthermore, the meticulous use of natural materials and bespoke furniture was designed to shift the atmosphere in the bedroom, contributing to a warmer, more serene, elegant space. A distinctive leather-tiled wall behind the bed introduced texture and refinement, giving the space a more distinct, custom-designed character of this luxury villa.
